Is Duelbits legit? The Curaçao certificate, the footer and what they settle

On 26 August 2026 the Curaçao register listed duelbits.com under licence OGL/2024/1507/0838, held by Liquid Entertainment N.V. and granted on 01/11/2024, with status Active. So is Duelbits legit? It is licensed and named; how it treats your money is a separate question, and we cover both.

On 26 August 2026 we searched the Curaçao certificate portal for duelbits.com and got back an Active licence, OGL/2024/1507/0838, held by Liquid Entertainment N.V., company number 153298, granted on 01/11/2024. That answers the first half of the legitimacy question: a named company holds a numbered licence that read Active on that date. The second half, how that company treats a player's money, sits outside what a licence can show, and below we set out what can.

The certificate, in full

The portal is searched by domain. For duelbits.com it returned this text on 26 August 2026:

This is to certify that duelbits.com is operated by Liquid Entertainment N.V., a company incorporated under the laws of Curacao with Company Number 153298 and licensed by the Curacao Gaming Authority to offer games of chance under licence number OGL/2024/1507/0838 in accordance with the National Ordinance on Games of Chance (Landsverordening op de kansspelen, P.B. 2024, no. 157). The licence was granted on 01/11/2024 and its current status is Active.

The Duelbits front page, captured the same day, carries this footer:

duelbits.com is a brand name of Liquid Entertainment N.V. Reg No 153298, having its registered address at Zuikertuintjeweg z/n (Zuikertuin Tower), Willemstad, Curaçao, licensed to conduct online gaming operations by the Government of Curacao. Herpestidae Services Limited Reg No. HE 410029, having its registered address at 1, Avlonos, Maria House, Nicosia, 1075 Cyprus, is a wholly owned subsidiary of Liquid Entertainment N.V. which provides management, payment and support services related to the operation of the website. 18+ to play, gamble responsibly.

The same wording appears on the Duelbits blog as archived on 3 June 2026. The footer and the register agree on the company and its number. One detail trips people up: “Reg No 153298” is the company number, and the footer text carries no licence number. For that, you need the register.

The footer also names a second company, a Cyprus subsidiary that handles management, payments and support, while the licence sits with the Curaçao parent. The ownership picture is on who owns Duelbits.

How the licence wording changed

Duelbits' own pages have described the licence in three different ways over the years. Each wording carries its date:

26 August 2026Curaçao registerOGL/2024/1507/0838, granted 01/11/2024 under the 2024 ordinance, Active

The register entry tells the newest story. The licence it shows was granted on 01/11/2024, under an ordinance published in 2024, and it sets Liquid Entertainment N.V. against its own OGL number. The January 2024 article speaks of a master-licence arrangement, and the 365/JAZ number in the site data is a different number again. We have no Duelbits document explaining how these relate, so we leave it there and go by the register, which is the authority's own record.

The Anjouan register

We searched the Anjouan public register on the same day. It returned nothing for duelbits.com, whose footer names Curaçao and nowhere else.

A second domain does appear there. A maintenance page served at duelbits.com, archived on 3 June 2026, says that “duelbits.io is operated by Elevated Entertainment Ltd (Reg. No. 16101)”, registered in Mutsamuda, Anjouan, and “licensed to conduct online gaming operations under the laws of the Island of Anjouan”. The Anjouan public register, which we read on 11 September 2026, lists Elevated Entertainment Ltd under licence ALSI-112310013-FI5, status valid, issued 13 October 2023 and expiring 12 October 2026, for one domain: duelbits.io. The sources we read do not say how Elevated Entertainment Ltd and Liquid Entertainment N.V. are related, or which players each domain serves, so we leave it at the two register lines. The account you open decides which company and which licence you deal with; check the footer of the domain you actually use.

What the licence settles

  • Who you deal with. A named company, Liquid Entertainment N.V., company number 153298, registered in Willemstad, Curaçao.
  • That a licence exists, and its status on a date. Active on 26 August 2026, under number OGL/2024/1507/0838.
  • Which rulebook it sits under. The National Ordinance on Games of Chance of 2024, as the certificate states.

What it leaves open

A register records holders and statuses. How fast a withdrawal is approved, when documents are requested, what a withdrawal costs and how much can leave per week are all set by the operator's terms. The Duelbits terms, linked from its help-centre footer, were archived only as an empty app shell, and the questions that leaves are listed on what we could not verify.

The country question also sits outside the certificate; we deal with it on one page, where Duelbits is available.

And a status can change. On 26 August 2026, BC.Game's Curaçao entry, OGL/2023/118/0060, read Revoked, while the same number copied onto a website would look exactly as before. The Anjouan register showed every one of the 39 entries it held as valid, including three whose own printed expiry date had already passed. A licence line is only as good as the date beside it.

Signs you can check yourself

  1. Search the register by domain. Check that the Curaçao portal returns duelbits.com, Liquid Entertainment N.V. and OGL/2024/1507/0838, and that the status reads Active on the day you look.
  2. Follow Duelbits' own pointer. Its help centre, as archived on 13 October 2025, says to open the Terms of Service, scroll to the bottom and click License. Compare the number shown there with the register.
  3. Keep the numbers apart. 153298 identifies the company; OGL/2024/1507/0838 identifies the licence.
  4. Read the terms and AML policy before you deposit. Look for the ID clause, withdrawal limits and the restricted-country list, and note the date you read them.
  5. Turn on two-factor login. The help centre, as archived on 15 May 2025, supports Authy or Google Authenticator and issues a secret recovery key; store it somewhere safe.
  6. Keep your records. Save transaction hashes and round IDs; the help centre says support will ask for them.
  7. Ask support in writing. Live Support was listed as available 24 hours a day, seven days a week, in the help centre as archived on 24 January 2024. Ask about the ID threshold and withdrawal fees before depositing, and keep the reply.

Our view

Duelbits is licensed, and the company behind it is named the same way in the register and on its own site. On that narrow question, the answer on 26 August 2026 was yes. Whether it is the right place for your money turns on terms we could not read, so treat the licence as a starting point. Everything else Duelbits' own pages show is in our Duelbits review.

The same check works for any Duelbits alternative. Vave, our advertiser, holds Curaçao licence OGL/2024/1676/0905 for Latcas B.V., shown Active in the register, and it is one of the two casinos where we have put our own money through: on 28 August 2026 we deposited, played and withdrew, with no ID requested up to 5,000 USDT.

Open Vave

How the wording moved from a master licence in January 2024 to its own certificate is traced step by step in our note on the Duelbits licence under the 2024 law. Our other dated notes are on the blog.

Is Duelbits licensed?
Yes, on the date we checked. A search of the Curaçao certificate portal for duelbits.com on 26 August 2026 returned licence OGL/2024/1507/0838, held by Liquid Entertainment N.V., granted 01/11/2024, status Active.
Is 153298 the Duelbits licence number?
No. 153298 is the company number of Liquid Entertainment N.V., printed as Reg No in the Duelbits footer. The licence number is OGL/2024/1507/0838, and it appears in the register.
What is the 365/JAZ number on Duelbits?
The site's own structured data, as archived on 3 June 2026, says Duelbits is licensed by the Government of Curaçao under 365/JAZ. The register search of 26 August 2026 returned a different number, OGL/2024/1507/0838. We have no Duelbits document explaining how the two relate, so we go by the register.
Does the licence mean Duelbits pays out quickly?
A register records who holds a licence and its status. Processing times, fees and ID checks live in the operator's terms, and the Duelbits pages we could read give none of those figures.
Does Duelbits hold an Anjouan licence?
Not for duelbits.com: the Anjouan register returned nothing for that domain on 26 August 2026, and its licence is Curaçao OGL/2024/1507/0838. A different domain, duelbits.io, is on the Anjouan register under Elevated Entertainment Ltd, licence ALSI-112310013-FI5, valid until 12 October 2026 when we read it on 11 September 2026.
