Licence, then and now

How the Duelbits licence line moved to OGL/2024/1507/0838

In January 2024 Duelbits' help centre described a master licence and printed no number. On 26 August 2026 the Curaçao certificate portal returned a record in its own company's name, OGL/2024/1507/0838, status Active. Here is what that shift gives a player, set beside Vave and Stake.

Open Vave's cashierOne paid placement, and it is this. vave.com/promotions supplied the figures; it was read on 24 August 2026. Nothing there states a wagering multiple. The terms do — read them. 18+.

Two Duelbits documents, 31 months apart, describe its licence in very different ways. The older one is a sentence in the help centre that carries no number at all. The newer one is a register record with a licence number, a company, a grant date and a status, and anyone can bring it up by typing the domain.

The January 2024 wording

Duelbits' help centre, as archived on 24 January 2024, opened its Welcome article by calling Duelbits a provably fair casino licensed and authorized by the Government of Curaçao. The same sentence said Duelbits “operates under the Master License of Gaming Services Provider”.

Read plainly, that places Duelbits under a master licence held by someone described as a gaming services provider, rather than under a licence in its own name. The sentence gives no licence number, no holder and no company number. A player reading it in 2024 had a claim to take on trust and nothing specific to look up.

We hold no later copy of the Welcome article, so we cannot say when its wording changed. A later help article fills part of the gap. Is Duelbits licensed?, as archived on 13 October 2025, says Duelbits operates under a valid gaming licence and sends readers to the bottom of its Terms of Service, to a link labelled License. It prints no number either, and we could not read the terms page that link sits on, so the certificate below is our source.

One more string survives in the site's structured data. As archived on 3 June 2026, it described Duelbits as licensed by the Government of Curaçao under 365/JAZ, a number in a different format from the OGL series. We did not check 365/JAZ against any register, and it is not the number on the certificate.

The certificate, as the register returned it

Our search of the Curaçao certificate portal for duelbits.com, run on 26 August 2026, brought back a certificate of operation with six items on it:

The front-page footer captured the same day names the same company: duelbits.com as a brand name of Liquid Entertainment N.V., Reg No 153298, registered in Willemstad. It adds Herpestidae Services Limited, a Cyprus company that the footer describes as a wholly owned subsidiary providing management, payment and support services.

One detail catches people out: the 153298 in the footer is the company number, and the licence number appears only on the certificate. We found no Anjouan register entry for duelbits.com. A maintenance page archived on 3 June 2026 does name a different domain, duelbits.io, as operated by Elevated Entertainment Ltd (Reg. No. 16101) under the laws of Anjouan. The Anjouan public register, which we read on 11 September 2026, lists Elevated Entertainment Ltd under licence ALSI-112310013-FI5, status valid, issued 13 October 2023 and expiring 12 October 2026, for one domain: duelbits.io. How that company relates to Liquid Entertainment N.V. is not stated in anything we read.

What the change means for a player

You can check it yourself. A number tied to a domain can be searched, re-read and compared with the footer. A sentence about a master licence gives you nothing to type into a search box.

A named company answers for the domain. The certificate and the footer agree on Liquid Entertainment N.V. and on 153298. That is the company to write to, and the one to put on paper, if a dispute ever turns into a formal complaint.

The status carries a date. Active is what the record said on 26 August 2026. Records change: in the register data we hold, BC.Game's Curaçao number OGL/2023/118/0060 carries the status Revoked. Open the record again on the day you plan to deposit.

Some things stay outside the certificate. It says who runs the site and under which licence. Withdrawal speed, when ID is asked for and what a bonus requires are set in Duelbits' own terms. The full certificate, and what it leaves open, is on our Duelbits licence page.

Duelbits next to Vave and Stake

All three hold numbers in the same OGL/2024 series from the same authority, and Duelbits' grant date is the earliest of the three.

Vave is our advertiser, the one brand on this site that pays for its place. Its entry names Latcas B.V., and the record we hold shows no company number. Because a certificate says nothing about payouts, we put our own money through Vave on 28 August 2026: a deposit, some play and a withdrawal, with no ID asked for below 5,000 USDT. Duelbits has had no such test from us.

Open Vave

Stake's certificate names Medium Rare N.V., company number 145353, under the same 2024 ordinance, granted 9 June 2025 and Active each time the record was opened. How the two products compare beyond the licence is in Duelbits vs Stake.

Check any licence in four steps

  1. Type the exact domain you will deposit on into the Curaçao certificate portal. It searches by domain and company name.
  2. Read five items off the record: company, company number, licence number, grant date, status.
  3. Hold the footer next to it. The company should match, and a Reg No is a company number rather than a licence.
  4. Write down the date you looked, because a status belongs to the day it was read.

Run the same search on each of the Duelbits alternatives you are weighing before the first deposit.
