Chat and tips at Duelbits: two deposit gates and six house rules

Duelbits' help centre, as archived on 15 May 2025, opens its chat to players who have deposited $100 and its tipping to those who have deposited 100 coins, with a 1.00 coin minimum tip. Here are the rules as printed, what a mute costs, and why a casino puts gates like these in front of a chat box.

Two numbers stand between a new Duelbits account and the social side of the site: $100 to chat and 100 coins to tip. Both come from Duelbits' help centre as archived on 15 May 2025, in two short articles, and a third figure sets the smallest possible tip at 1.00 coin.

Who can use the chat

The chat article presents the chat as part of a goal Duelbits says it has held from the start: a community of players who enjoy each other's company while they play. Access comes with a price of entry. A player must meet a $100 depositing minimum before the chat feature opens.

The phrase used is a depositing minimum. Whether one deposit of $100 is needed or several smaller ones that add up to it, the article leaves open. If the difference matters to you, ask Live Support before you rely on either reading.

The six house rules, as printed

The article asks players to read its guidelines before chatting. In our words, they are:

  1. Keep it civil. No harassing, spamming or offending other users.
  2. Keep others' details private, and use one account: multi-accounts are banned from the chat.
  3. Go easy on capital letters, which the article says clog up the conversation.
  4. Ask nobody for coins, loans or tips.
  5. Sell nothing. Advertising, trading, borrowing and offering services are out, and accounts caught at it are muted indefinitely.
  6. Post no links.

A mute has a cost beyond silence. The article says a muted player loses the chance to take part in the on-site trivia that moderators often run.

The gate is older than that article, and the site's own messages add detail. Duelbits' interface text, archived on 18 April 2022, already told signed-in players to deposit a set amount before chatting, and its error messages, archived on 1 February 2024, count that gate in coins. Those files add rules the 2025 list leaves out: English only in the main chat, no mention of other gambling sites, messages under 200 characters, and a slow mode. Mutes there come in two kinds, for a set time or permanent. The 2022 text also shows a rain feature whose notice told players they had received coins from the rain.

Tipping: 100 coins in, 1.00 coin minimum

The tipping article, archived the same day, describes a short route. Click the player's name in the chat, press Tip User, type an amount and press Tip. The one limit it names sits on the sender, who must have deposited at least 100 coins. The smallest tip is 1.00 coins. Duelbits' error messages, archived on 1 February 2024, set a second condition the article leaves out: at least 1000 coins wagered before tipping. They also rule out tipping yourself.

The two articles count in different units. The chat gate is written in dollars; the tipping gate in coins. Elsewhere the help centre, in its affiliates article archived on 14 August 2025, pegs Bits 1:1 to the US dollar, but the tipping article never defines a coin, so we treat the two gates as close without calling them identical.

The article also describes no way to take a tip back. Treat every tip as final, and count it as money leaving your balance. How tips sit alongside deposits and withdrawals is covered on Duelbits deposits and withdrawals.

Why a casino gates its chat and its tips

Duelbits' articles give the rules and leave the reasons unstated. The logic behind gates like these is simple enough to lay out, and it is our reading rather than Duelbits' own explanation.

A deposit makes a throwaway account expensive. A free account can be replaced in a minute after a mute. One that took $100 to unlock is a different matter. That is why a deposit gate and a ban on multi-accounts work as a pair.

Tips move money between strangers. A feature like that draws beggars and people who want to shuffle small balances between fresh accounts. Requiring the sender to have deposited first, and banning requests for tips and loans in the chat, both push against the same problem.

Links are the easiest bait. A link dropped into a busy conversation can lead to a copy of a login page. Banning links outright removes that route for everyone.

Loans between strangers have no enforcer. Money lent in a casino chat depends entirely on the borrower's goodwill, and the rules keep that out of view.

For a player, the practical upshot is short. Deposit for the games you actually want, and treat the chat as an extra. Anyone in any casino chat who asks you for a tip back, a loan or a login code is doing exactly what these rules forbid.

What we could not check

We have no Duelbits account and have not seen its chat. The figures above may have changed since the May 2025 copies. The promotions article, archived on 21 January 2025, also points players to one-click community giveaways on Discord.

The rest of the product, from the licence to support, is on our Duelbits review. Chat rules are rarely printed by other operators, and the sites like Duelbits on our home page are compared on licences, rewards and cashiers instead.

How much do I need to deposit to use Duelbits chat?
$100. Duelbits' help centre, as archived on 15 May 2025, says the $100 depositing minimum has to be met before the chat feature can be used.
What is the minimum tip on Duelbits?
1.00 coins. The sender must also have deposited at least 100 coins, according to the tipping article archived on 15 May 2025. Duelbits' error messages, archived on 1 February 2024, also required 1000 coins wagered before tipping.
What gets an account muted in the Duelbits chat?
The archived rules cover harassment and spam, sharing other players' private details, multi-accounts, heavy use of capital letters, begging for coins, loans or tips, advertising, trading, borrowing or offering services, and posting links. Accounts caught advertising or trading are muted indefinitely.
